Developing and managing acquisitions to enter a new market


A major European insurer wanted to quickly develop a footprint in a new geography. The CH&Co applied our knowledge of the insurance sector and M&A methodologies, including integration change management, to identify and screen the most suitable targets and propose a business strategy to create a leading local player. The CH&Co team project managed the whole process through to completion of the acquisitions, including managing the approaches to the targets and due diligence process..


Creating a new digital banking platform


As part of its efforts to enhance its customer experience, a leading Singapore bank decided to launch a brand new digital banking platform. The bank hired CH&Co to define, create and implement the new platform. Reporting directly into the head of the digital bank, the CH&Co team took responsibility for:


  • Managing the global project roadmap
  • Supporting the organization definition and HR ramp-up
  • Coordinating the different streams, including IT, operations, marketing and distribution

Optimizing a multi-channel insurance distribution strategy


A major French insurance company needed assistance in developing new online distribution channels, in the form of an app and a website, and integrating these into its existing channel strategy.


The primary challenge was to redesign the global distribution set-up and analyze how the existing and new channels could complement one another to provide cross-selling opportunities and synergies.


The CH&Co team defined a target distribution model in terms of IT prerequisites, organizational change and allocation of processes between digital and bricks and mortar, and delivered a global target business model and transformation roadmap which were used as the channels were developed and launched to the market.


Launching of a disruptive banking offer


A major French retail bank turned to CH&Co when it wanted to enter the digital banking market. In response, The CH&Co team developed an innovative mobile banking app incorporating social functionalities which was designed around customers’ day to day needs and activities. Employing a lean start-up approach, we ensured that the app could be built and released to the market in a short timeframe.
